It’s like this~ I collect magazines from 1998. I have a YM Magazine from 21 years ago that shows how to do a proper sit-up. It wasn’t the first mag to do that, and it was certainly not the last. Repeat stuff is okay, because you’re doing it from your unique point of view 😘
I’ve done some of these, and will be doing some in the coming weeks, but I still look forward to reading your own posts 🙂

Great ideas, Yari! One question a blogger asked me once was: What are your favorite first sentences of books you have read. I got so much out of that exercise! As I went back and looked at different book’s first sentence, I found some great ones. One of my favorites was this one from The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls: “I was sitting in a taxi, wondering if I had overdressed for the evening, when I looked out the window and saw Mom rooting through a Dumpster.”
Blessings, Yari!

That exercise is so much fun! I did a blog about my favorite first sentences a few months back, and it was so interesting. The Glass Castle came up in the comments, I believe. Then again, that whole book left me speechless.
Thanks! Take care and God bless! 🙂
