“Book Blurbs and Synopses” Book Review

Hello, Writers! Today’s post will be especially helpful for those who struggle with short book blurbs and concise synopses/summaries.

Book Blurbs and Synopses by Rayne Hall

I give this book Five Stars!

This book is divided into two parts: business-to-business, and business-to-consumer.

The first part of the book shows you how to do blurbs and synopses for publishing houses.

The second part of the book shows you how to do blurbs and synopses for your readers.

Author Rayne Hall gets right to the point in this book, and in just a few pages, you will have exercises and examples for writing your own blurbs and synopses.

The book has examples that you can use and customize to provide publishing houses with a clear understanding of your plot and story.

It also has templates that you can use to provide your readers with an emotional blurb/synopsis that will make them want to read more.

I highly recommend this book (Rayne Hall’s entire book series is amazing, actually) and I’m actually going back to fix a ton of my blurbs and synopses 🙂

I hope this book is a treasure to you, like it was to me!

    1. Blurbs can be so tricky! If you’re not sure, this book will definitely help. Once I carve some time, I’m re-doing some of mine with the book’s examples 🙂

Wishing you the best on your upcoming book!

    1. Hard to say, Liz. Only because I’m not sure what you have found online.

However, I will say that it is good advice in the book, especially since there are no ads or pop ups to interrupt your reading! 🙂

I also enjoyed that it was organized between business-to-business and business-to-consumer.

The templates were helpful, and the book lacked the usual fluff/filler that some how to’s can have. It was very to-the-point.

If anything, this is all good advice wrapped up in one book 🙂 Hope that helps!
