A trope is a character we’ve seen, over and over again, who has the same general characteristics each time. We mostly find them in genre books, where they actually fit in quite nicely.
Sure, we should avoid tropes, or at least make them unique. But, as a reader, there are some tropes that I just simply love!
Oh, how I love to hate these words 😝 These words always keep me on my toes, making me pay attention in the editing stages of writing.
